For many of us, especially here in Central Idaho it is fair time. One of the other things in August it seems to be warm enough for us to wear swimsuits. If you’re like me it has been cool enough that shorts or swimsuits didn’t seem to matter.
Well quite honestly for me I very seldom do wear shorts. So many times we are out in the woods or working around the yard. It’s that I very seldom even put on shorts and I’m usually in blue jeans. (Which is why you can find me on Facebook under Beauty and Bluejeans) I’m going to be taking a trip soon so now it’s time to get in the swimsuit mode.
If you’re like me I have had problems with ingrown hairs in the past. These ingrown hairs were usually caused simply from shaving. So what have I found that works.
The way to go for easy hair removal is the Skin so Soft fresh and smooth sensitive skin body hair removal cream. At first I wasn’t sure about this product because I had problems in the past with similar products. I actually found that with the three unique oils and the gentle ingredients this hair removal cream did not seem to irritate my skin. Although the bottle says it is fragrance-free, that simply means that no fragrance has been added. Just as with any hair removal cream this does have an odor to it, but it is not as overwhelming as other hair removal creams I have tried.
As with any product it is always best to read the instructions first. The instructions for the fresh and smooth sensitive skin body hair removal cream include
To gently apply a thick layer of Skin So Soft Fresh & Smooth Sensitive Skin Hair Removal Cream over hair to be removed.
One of the key instructions is Do NOT rub in. This one of course seems to be hard for me to follow.
After 2-1/2 minutes, test a small area. If hair does not wipe off easily, leave on a few minutes longer. DO NOT EXCEED 8 MINUTES.
At any time you try a new product you should do a patch test to avoid a skin reaction. Test before each use by applying, as directed, to a small, quarter-sized area of the skin where hair is to be removed. I am the first to admit that I do not necessarily do the patch test each time I use this cream.
After you have applied the cream for the patch test, wait 24 hours. If skin appears normal, proceed with entire application.
