When a man gets sick

Have you ever noticed that the world must stop when a man gets sick.  Just this morning, my husband said to me ” man I feel like crap”. As we talked a bit longer, I said I’m sorry, you must have gotten what I had Friday.

As he got ready to leave for work, he said ” I’ll probably be back before to long, since I’m not feeling good”. And sure enough, he was back in about a half an hour.

Restore Your Health

So what does a man do when he is sick.  He lays on the couch, sleeps, gets up to use the bathroom, and eat some broth.  Then it’s back to the couch.  In contrast, last Friday, when I was not feeling well, I cleaned the bathroomb vacuumed the floors, shoveled some snow, made his lunch,  did the dishes,  and babysat out grand-daughter,  It wasn’t until all that was done that I laid down on the couch for about an hour.  Then it was back up to finish some paper work, type some invoices, and prepare to get dressed for a 50th Birthday Party.

Daily Essentials to Stay Healthy

It’s no wonder is women are usually the ones to take vitamins and supplements and make sure we eat right.  Ever notice how many of the are for healthy eating, staying fit, and supplements are geared towards women. At first glance to might think it’s because women do allot of not most of the shopping, but I think it’s because we are the ones that need to stay healthy.  Cause, we all know what happens when we get sick.  Short of a night or two in the hospital, when we’re sick, we really don’t get to take the day off.  We might get to take a few hours off, but not an entire day.

So here’s to hoping you stay healthy this cold and flu season.
