Do you have a box of Halloween makeup stashed away? Me Too.I often wonder why. Why do I hold on to that box of half used Halloween props, especially the makeup that just sits there for years.Yes I used it when my children were small, we would get it out and use it once a year. I often wondered, why not just use my regular makeup. It would last longer as most Halloween makeup is creams and don’t last all day.So my question to you is, why not use the makeup you have sitting in the cupboard. We all have eye shadow, liners, and blush colors that we very seldom use. Instead of spending you money on those Halloween creams that will end up just sitting and collecting dust until next year, why not use stuff you already have.. Or get a some new Makeup that can serve as double duty. Use for Halloween to dress up, then use later. So what kind of stuff could serve a dual purpose? What about eyeliners… with so many colors to choose from, you could get a couple unusual ones for Halloween then use after Halloween for special Days, such as a wedding, date night, Christmas or New year party..And eye shadow. Who said eye shadow must be used on your eyes?.. Perhaps a green eye pallet could be used to create the perfect “wicked witch” face. And you would be assured of the quality as staying power. But how could you be assured your everyday eye makeup would last on your face? Simply use a face Primer before applying, and then a setting spray after. (Or even a hairspray on your face, just be sorry to close your eyes).I quickly did this look in about 10 minutes with thinks I had laying in my makeup bag. If I was going to do this for Halloween, I would probably use something different for my lips.Products used:
You can start going through your makeup bag now, and see what you have to use your imagination. Then try your idea out, even before the big holiday. Then when the day comes your already prepared. There’s no need to make a last minute run to the store and buy some Halloween Makeup.
