Finding the perfect match

We are all guilty of not updating our foundation.  Over the past couple months, I was feeling like my lines and wrinkles were over powering.  No matter what I did they they were, along with dark circles under my eyes.  It wasn’t until I was helping someone else match a foundation to her skin that it hit me.

Maybe it was foundation.  I had just opened a new bottle of my usual color, a couple weeks ago. So I was hesitant to think about having to open another color.  But I also had to admit to myself that it’s been quite a long time since I checked my foundation color.

So back to basics I went.  Finding the right shade of Foundation, is quite frankly pretty simple.  It basically about trying the shades and see which one is best.

First, it’s best to pick a shade you think is right, and then grab one that is lighter, and one that is darker

Second, put a small drop off foundation on you finger tip, and swipe a line down one cheek. Then repeat with the other two shades.

The one that disappears is the correct shade.  If none of them disappear, try 3 more shades until you find the one that does disappear.

Once you find your perfect shade, you will be glad you took the time.  The right foundation can make you look and feel younger, more confident, and Beautiful
