Create Your Digital Business Card (for free)

You’ve probably heard many people, especially those in direct sales, such as Independent AVON Sales Representative talk about sharing their digital business card.

There are several paid programs you can use to create a card, but I’m pretty cheap, and didn’t want to spend the money. So after reviewing several programs, and reading several blog posts about digital business cards, I figured out how to create a digital business cards for free.

For all of you that follow me, you know I basically run my AVON Business from my phone. So this is how I created my digital business card on my Android Phone.

It’s as basic as adding information to you contact. When you get a phone your own phone number is saved as “me”. All you need to do is to edit your contact info.

It’s actually quite simple to edit your personal contact information. Start by clicking on the pencil in the top right hand corner. Once you click on that you will be able to been editing. A few of the things that open up immediately, are the ability to add a photo. I chose to use a picture of my paper business card to insure consistency. I also added AVON isr behind my name, to help identify myself when a customer saves the digital business card.

After you update you photo and name you will see a “more fields”. One to click that you can then include you email, physical address, E-STORE and links to various other websites such as your Facebook Page.

You can included as much, or as little information as you wish to share with your customers. You might not be comfortable sharing you home address, even though that is also your business address. I have a PO Box listed as mine.

Now for the fun part, sharing your digital business card. You can share it from the 3 dots on the upper right corner of the your contact. When you click on the dots a share link opens up. You can share your digital business card contact through messages, G-mail, bluetooth.

I personally share my card most often though text messages.
